FAQs

How do I measure my window accurately?

Use a metal measuring tape and measure every window in mm (e.g. 739mm height, 846mm width). Please keep in mind that the window film needs to sit flat on your glass, so please take care to measure accurately. Many of the designs need to be fitted with the pattern in the right direction, so please be sure to put the height and the width in the right boxes.

My window has several panes - shall I measure them all separately?

Yes - measure and order each pane separately as the film is made to measure and so there will be no need for you to cut to size.

How do I fit my Blossom & Brush window film?

As the window film is made to measure, it's really easy to fit. Download your Blossom & Brush fitting guide here.

How much will shipping cost?

UK shipping costs £14.95. This may seem like a lot but it's important your window film reaches you in perfect condition so we pack it carefully, and send it tracked and insured. You'll also receive a squeegee and instructions.

Why do some of the designs look different in different windows?

Our in-house designers rework each design to suit each order. The sizes and proportions vary, and so we rework the designs to suit. This makes each order slightly different and unique to you.

How much privacy will Blossom & Brush window film offer?

If you are looking for total privacy for a bathroom or similar, please order frosted film. The original window film and the reverse window film both have clear areas in the designs and so will give some privacy, but not total.

I can’t choose which design I like best – can I see how it will look on my window(s)?

Yes - if you email a photograph of your window(s) and your preferred design name to hello@blossomandbrush.com, we can email you back a visualisation to help you make your decision.

Will my window film bubble or peel?

As long as you follow the instructions, and take care when fitting, you won’t have any bubbles. Our window film won’t peel if fitted correctly and measured accurately.

Can I clean my windows once the film is fitted?

Yes you can, with a water and detergent solution.

I get a lot of condensation on my windows, will my window film be OK?

Yes it will, condensation won't affect the window film.

Can the film be reused or moved to another window?

No, unfortunately not.

How long will my window film last?

The window film life expectancy is 8-10 years at least.

I’m in rented accommodation – can my window film be removed when I move out?

Yes – with a little elbow grease, the window film can be removed and your glass will be unaffected.

Does it go on the inside or the outside of my window?
